Smith was outlanded 98-23 by Benji Radach before scoring a come-from-behind ko win.

Inside the Numbers: Melendez dominated the last four rounds, outlanding Thomson nearly 2-1 in total strikes (158-85). Melendez, who landed 37% of his total strikes, was also the busier fighter, throwing 467 total strikes over five rounds to 231 for Thomson. Melendez landed just 24% of his total strikes in the first fight, to a whopping 68% for Thomson. Thomson landed 45% of his strikes in the rematch. Melendez closed the show by landing 50 of 128 total strikes in round five. Thomson managed just two takedowns in the remacth after scoring six in the first fight. Melendez even improved with the legs, landing 28 leg strikes after landing just one in the first fight. Round 11 anyone?
